From Lisbon, take the CP - Sintra Line for a scenic and affordable ride to Sintra. Once at Sintra Station, you’ll need to take a bus (434), taxi, or rideshare to reach Pena Palace. Do note that during busy periods, wait times and traffic can stretch the total travel time.

Driving Route:
From Lisbon, take the A37 (IC19) or A16 toward Sintra. Once in Sintra, follow the signs for Palácio da Pena. Be prepared for tight turns and steep inclines as you approach the palace.


Note: Private vehicles are not allowed directly at the palace entrance. You'll need to park in Sintra town and either walk, take a taxi or use the shuttle service to reach the palace.
